Victor de Boer

Victor de Boer, Ph.D. is a researcher at the Web & Media group of the VU University Amsterdam. In his research he is interested in exploring the use of Semantic Technologies in real-world domains such as that of digital humanities. Victor has extensive experience with Linked Data and -in the context of national and European projects- has produced a number of datasets which are now part of the Linked Data Cloud, including the Amsterdam Museum and Verrijkt Koninkrijk dataset. Within the Voices and IPI-Furoba Blon projects he is researching possibilities of bringing the Web of Data to local farmers in developing countries, combining Linked Data and voice technologies. Victor has taught several computer science courses at the Bachelor and Master’s level at VUA and supervises Bachelor, Master and Ph.D students in the field of Semantic Web and Linked Data. Knud Möller

Knud is an experienced Linked Data and Semantic Web practitioner, researcher and consultant. He believes that linked and open data will change and improve the way we live and work, and he is passionate about designing and building systems that will make this happen, and teaching others to do this as well.

Knud has been involved with semantics, data and the Web since 2003, when early experiments with a technology called Topic Maps lead him to do a PhD at the newly founded Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI) in Galway, Ireland, now one of the leading research centres for Linked Data and the Semantic Web. As a technical consultant at Talis Systems, UK, he has helped clients in the government, library and cultural sector to open, model and publish their data, and taught classes on different levels on a range of Web data-related topics, such as graph models like RDF, data and domain modelling, basic and advanced querying with SPARQL, etc. Knud now works as a freelance Web Data consultant in Berlin, as datalysator.com.

王栋
王栋博士于2008年3月加入Google公司,现任高级软件工程师,从事Google知识图谱(Knowledge Graph)的研发工作。加入Google之前,王栋任职于Bell Labs Research China,从事下一代互联网技术的研究工作。王栋分别于1998年和2000年获清华大学计算机系学士和硕士学位,并于2005年获北京大学计算机博士学位。

张坤
张坤2007年毕业于复旦大学,07~09年在百度工作,09年后加入搜狗。研究方向机器学习、数据挖掘和信息抽取,搜狗知立方项目负责人。

吴华
吴华,中国科学院自动化所博士,现任百度主任研究员,百度自然语言处理技术负责人。2010年加盟百度前,曾任微软(亚洲)研究院副研究员、东芝(中国)研究开发中心主任研究员、研究经理。是NLP领域影响力最大、也最活跃的国际学术组织ACL2014年程序委员会主席之一,曾担任ACL 2012 机器翻译领域主席。

赵世奇
赵世奇,2010年于哈工大获工学博士学位,研究方向为自然语言处理和知识挖掘,现为百度高级研究员。赵世奇在ACL、COLING、IJCAI、IJCNLP、JNLE等自然语言处理、人工智能等领域的国内外会议和期刊上发表论文20余篇,并为COLING-2010、ACL&SIGIR summer school等做专题学术讲座。此外,赵世奇还担任ACL、EMNLP、IJCNLP等国际会议的程序委员会委员,AIRS-2012领域主席,ACM TIST的特邀编委,以及中国中文信息学会青年工作委员会主任等。赵世奇于2012年荣获钱伟长中文信息处理科学技术奖汉王青年创新奖一等奖。

Victor de Boer

吴华

Dr. Jeff Z. Pan
Dr. Jeff Z. Pan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing Science at University of Aberdeen, where he is the Deputy Director of Research of the department. He has over 100 refereed publications. He is an editor of the International Journal on Semantic Web and Information Systems (IJSWIS) and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Web Semantics (JoWS). He served as a program chair of the 1st International Conference on Web Reasoning and Rule System (RR2007), of the 1st Joint International Semantic Technology Conference (JIST2011), and of the Doctoral Consortiums in the 9th International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC2010) in the 8th Extended Semantic Web Conference (ESWC2011). He is a key contributor to the W3C OWL2 standard and is widely recognised for his work on scalable and efficient ontology reasoning and query answering (see e.g. the TrOWL Tractable OWL2 reasoning infrastructure that he leads, http://trowl.eu/).
